Warmed up 3 miles to Cottonwood track. 6x800 (400 recovery). Splits- 2:55, 2:54, 2:54, 2:52, 2:52, 2:52. I haven't run on the track since the middle of June so I wasn't surprised that it was harder and slower than I wanted. Onward and upward right? 2.5 mile cooldown to hit 10.
New Balance sent me some new shoes to test for them. They are pretty sweet! They are light weight and have a low profile so I think I'll only run my speed workouts in them. I don't want to run too far in them or I'll hurt myself.
