Track workout at Murray High. I thought I'd take the new track for a test run. My mom watched Weston so I was able to run at 9:30 which was awesome!

I thought I'd copy Emily's track workout that she did on Monday. I think it was just enough speed to get things moving and I didn't feel completely trashed afterwards. Thanks Em for the workout idea! 1xmile, 2x800, 4x400 (400 recovery jog between the miles and 1:00 between the 400's.)

Mile-5:45

800's- 2:50, 2:49

400's- :80, :80, :78, :78

I'm pretty excited about this workout. I haven't run this fast since college. I wore my new racing flats and I think that helped too. 3 mile warm up and 3 mile cool down. It's always fun to run around town with racing flats on your hands (because I warmed up/cooled down in my trainers).
