The original goal today was 3 miles, 2 miles, 1 mile. BUT...the wind and heat decided to suck the energy right out of me. So I ended up doing 3 miles, 2x1 mile. I ran my usual tempo loop around my neighborhood.
3 miles: 6:09, 6:09, 6:15- 18:35
1 mile: 6:22 (into the wind and uphill) Blah!
1 mile: 6:06
I try not to make the weather an excuse, but it really sucked today. 80+ degrees and wind are hard to run a good workout in. I felt like I was running Des News!
