10 miles with Allie at Liberty Park. 4 mile warm up then we did a 5K time trial. 18:58 (5:54, 6:10, 6:16, :37).  I am not a 5K runner. This was pretty hard for me. Our last mile was a lot slower than I wanted it to be. I'm so glad Allie was there to help push me. I could tell that she wanted to go faster but she held back for me. What an awesome friend/robot! 3 mile cool down by delicious donut shops.

I really think my best distance is the half. I can run 13 miles and still feel strong at the end. But 5K's are super painful and hard for me. I'm happy that I was able to get under 19 minutes today. I haven't done that since college. I signed up for the Murray 5K and Draper Days 5K so I must enjoy the misery a little bit. But I think they will be good training for TOU Half in August.

super solid workout today. 5ks are hard, and i like that you've signed up for more pain!

you have a great race schedule lined up and i think you are going to have some big breakthroughs. you are really strong right now and there's more in you. your awesome half at slc this spring was just the beginning. sub-1:20, lady!
